LIFE IN THE LINE OF DUTY

Melanie

Hey! What's happenin'? Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I would now like to introduce myself to you and let you in on why becoming a police officer is so important to me. First of all, my name is Melanie and I attend Arizona State University full time while also working a part time job. I hope to receive my Bachelors Degree in Administration of Justice, more specifically Criminal Justice, in the year 2006 while at the same time going through the police academy to become a sworn police officer.

I have always been a caring person who puts the needs of others before my own. I have also always been a big protector of my family and friends which is where the strive for hunger in this particular field comes from. I have complete admiration for all female officers (especially my favorite officer...Giogi Chiappo from the Phoenix Police Department) because we, as women, have the ability to do what is considered a man's job. This field takes dire strength and months of training to be successful. I have always liked working with people no matter what my job might be and I like to help people in their time of need. As a person, I like to feel needed and in this line of duty people will need my help on a daily basis; as well as, respect me. These are other important aspects that have influenced me to become a law enforcement officer!

*****I have provided a ton of information throughout the site for anyone whose interested in the law enforcement field or simply would like to learn about it. On your way out, I hope you will sign my guestbook where I can receive your feedback about the site. If you have any questions or comments feel free to email me as well and I will try my best to answer any questions you might have! Thanks!******
